On December 17, 2015, I lost my uncle to a rare and aggressive cancer that obstructed his airways during its final stages metastatization. Seeing him during his final hours was the most heartbreaking experience of my life. It's unfathomable to reflect on that young children are experiencing similarly awful circumstances. No innocent human being should have to endure the inhumane distress of cancer. Thank you all for hosting this wonderful event on an annual basis, you're the real MVPs. |
