Every year the outpouring of compassion and generosity on the part of everyone involved here warms my heart in a lasting way.
As someone whose loved ones have been routinely pitted against cancer, One Step's campaign for a return to the sense of normalcy that cancer strips from a person is beautiful in ways that elucidate the minute and unseen ways in which such conditions alter one's life. I can't speak enough about it. And Getawhale, don't sweat the time zone comment. I fed myself mostly on crayons too as a kid. |
