Something I forgot to mention earlier, if a bit wordy.
You guys are really doing something special here. TOTH is an event that funds a reminder for children with cancer. A reminder that they are not patients first. A reminder that they are sons. Daughters. Nieces. Nephews. Grandchildren. Friends. Loved ones. And most of all: kids. Kids who have the god given right to go out and play before the weight of the world bears down on them with age, but who fall claim to the entrapment of cancer and all of the trouble it brings. The money here takes those clamps off, if only for a little while, and lets the world instead remind them that they are children who shouldn't have to worry about the bigger picture yet. God bless all of you who make this event possible. Open those wallets, guys, give a kid a smile who damn well deserves it. |
