Preheat 350°F. Grease and flour pan. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt. Add eggs, buttermilk subst., butter, vanilla, and mix until smooth. Mix in hot water (it will be runny). Pour into pan, 35 minutes middle-oven (until cooked). Cool 15 minutes in pan, then free edges. Invert out onto cooling rack (thump bottom of pan until cake is free). Cool completely, then frost. |
