My mother was diagnosed with Triple-Negative breast cancer in late 2012. Chemotherapy was tough, but she managed to pull through and about a year later was declared cancer free. I know my experience is not nearly as life threatening as others, but it was tough the first couple months because I didn't know what would happen. Thankfully she recovered very fast, and she has been doing well since.
